Health Care in the Triangle

No matter where you live in the Triangle, there are state-of-the-art health care facilities nearby. Rex Healthcare and WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, Duke University Medical Center and Durham Regional Hospital in Durham, and UNC Hospitals and the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, among many others, provide Triangle residents with unsurpassed medical services and facilities.

If you need hospitalization, managed care may very well determine your choices here as well. Make note of your health insurance plan's requirements when you seek referrals for care. If you have the opportunity to choose which hospitals you wish to use, take some time now to research area institutions so you'll be well informed to select the one you prefer should the need arise.
